I come here every year for my Vineyard trip. Comfortable rooms, grills and picnic tables outside as well as an outdoor pool, laundry room, and playground area. My favorite place to stay!
We have been vacationing on the Vineyard for 30 years. Having discovered Edgartown Commons early, we always stay there for a week, and a day or two before or after we try out somewhere else on the Island. The outdoor pool is wonderful, and the neighborhood is delightful for walking. It's nice to have a kitchen, and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful.
Racist. Yelled at us because we had more than 2 people come up to the front desk. DEFINITELY treated us like terrorists, asking a small woman to calm down and step back, following us to our room, intimidating us, etc. Don't come here if you're not white.
This is the best deal on the island. It's great to have a kitchen and pool, chairs to sit outdoors and access to all our favorite shops and eateries. If you're looking for amenities, go somewhere else. If you're a yearly visitor and you basically "move in" to the Vineyard each year, Edgartown Commons is great.
