Scam, should be out of business. They have an F with the better business bureau. Stay away!
Do not buy anything from these people IT IS A SCAM! Tried to contact them to resolve an issue with an item that hadn't been shipped and no one answered then I checked them out on Google and see all the horrible reviews.
So horrible. Wish zero stars was an option. Placed an order on January 2nd, it is now February 1st and they still have not shipped my order. Every time I contact them, I get a response stating that it is scheduled to ship at the end of the week. Two separate weeks have gone by since these statements, and still awaiting shipment. No updates, no tracking, no nothing I have never seen a company run so poorly with such bad customer service. They will not be in business much longer. Will completely avoid in the future.
This company deserves NO STARS but I had to give it one star in order to be able to post. This is the worst company ever. If you find yourself anywhere near this site, RUN!! RUN AWAY FAST!!! I paced an order on December 7th and was told it would arrive by Christmas. It never did. I was then told it would arrive the week after, it never did. Finally, the gentleman I had been speaking with confessed the order would never be coming because it was on "back order". He said he would refund my money and that I would see a refund on my credit card statement in 5-7 business days. It has been 18 days and still no refund. Now that gentleman will not respond to my emails and when I call the number on the website, no one is available to take my call.
STAY AWAY, DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE!!
Beware this is a complete scam. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The phone numbers are bogus since nobody answers the calls no matter the time of the day. Plus they never respond to e-mails. Let alone never shipping the product. I've placed my credit card charge under dispute so they don't get a hand on those funds. Never buy from North River Outfitter. I never will!!!
